Medical care

Administering medicines is an important part of our role.  All medicines are ordered on the resident’s behalf and administered as directed, normally 4 times per day. This ensures that the correct medicine is taken at the correct time – no more guessing or trying to remember whether you’ve had your medicine!

Our staff are all trained and receive regular updates to their training. When you come into the home simply bring your medicines with you and we will arrange to have a new monthly supply delivered.

If your doctor is not in the area, we will arrange for a new doctor to be assigned to you. We have developed a great working relationship with our local GP's surgery which we have been assigned. They have extensive experience in dealing with care home residents and aim to provide the best service possible.
